Welcome to the Hotel SITNO **** Forest Resort, set in the picturesque landscape of the Štiavnica Mountains. Situated less than 6 km from the main route between Bratislava and Banská Bystrica and only 165 km from Bratislava, it is readily accessible from anywhere in Slovakia.
The hotel has been extensively refurbished and now offers 329 beds in tastefully appointed rooms and suites.
NEW: Newly renovated Wellness Relax Zone: The resort’s very popular relaxation and recreation zone has a thermal pool complete with hydro-massage. The Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, and steam aroma sauna are integral features. The cooling bucket and icefall are refreshing after a hot bath or sauna.
Vyhne’s dominant feature is its thermal spring. It was miners who stumbled upon a spring of warm, almost boiling, water after a few metres of tunnelling the medieval Cornel shaft. The same spring still flows today and its healing properties full of iron, calcium, magnesium and silicon have a beneficial and healing effect on the body and soul.
This is why our Wellness Relax Zone has a mining theme – travertine around the thermal pool, with design elements evoking mining carts, mining beams, and lanterns.
